Freemasonry provides a unique environment for people from all backgrounds to learn skills, form lasting friendships, making a contribution to society and their local community, and above all enjoy themselves.
We believe that masonry should be enjoyed by all and whilst we follow our traditions and honor our history, we also relish the challenges of employing the benefits of Masonry to help deal with the pressures of modern life
Eastnor lodge was formed on 20th September 1858 in the Feathers Hotel, Ledbury and after having moved locations over the years we now meet at the same Hotel where we were formed.

We start with a formal ceremony after which we enjoy our festive board, where we enjoy an evening meal, with fine dining provided by the Feathers hotel. Our evenings are enhanced by the presence of visiting masons from within & outside of the province of Herefordshire, most of whom return often. We have social events during the year to include our families, friends & partners to enjoy time together as a group.
We meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month between October and May, when our meeting and meal lasts from 6.30 -
We enjoy charitable fundraising and we focus heavily on ensuring that we support local charities with the money we all contribute so that Eastnor Lodge benefits the local community.
“Family, Business, Freemasonry” is the set of priorities all masons should abide by.
We support & encourage our newer members to advance as they are able, ensuring it matches their needs and that of their family but with no specific time table. To help we also hold a Lodge of instruction to help new members learn in a less formal environment about masonry and the expectations of our members, whilst also getting to know each other better. We also offer a personal mentor to each new member, often the person that proposes them, or the official lodge mentor.
